Sharon Stone shares throwback of iconic sequin fashion moment

Going for gold.

Sharon Stone has shared a throwback from an iconic fashion moment at a previous awards ceremony. Taking to Instagram, the star posted a gold sequin look which she wore to an event in Zurich in 2021.

Sharon wore the dress for an awards ceremony (at which she was presented with the Golden Icon Award) and a screening of Casino during the 17th Zurich Film Festival. Sharon posted the image on social media on Saturday (26 August) and captioned the photo: "Happy Saturday Night!"

The stunning floor-length look featured a strapless fit with jewelled detailing, and it pooled into a short train behind her as she walked. The entire Dolce and Gabbana piece was covered in large gold sequins, making Sharon look every inch the Hollywood icon.

To compliment the look, she added chunky gold accessories, with hoop earrings and a chain style bangle. A glittering gold bag completed the ensemble.

Sharon Stone starred in Martin Scorsese's film Casino alongside Robert Ne Diro. At the film festival, the movie was screened to honour Sharon, as she was presented with the event's highest and most prestigious Golden Icon Award.

While Sharon is a talented actress, she also channels her creativity into other projects, with art being a particular passion of hers.

On social media, Sharon regularly shares updates on her painting, posting behind the scenes footage of her working on large, colourful and abstract pieces.

Occasionally, the star also shares insight into her family life, for instance posting photographs of her son, Roan, or celebrating with her mum.
