Pendants in all different motifs and gemstones continue to trend, but the most directional of all this summer is creating a more casual, laid-back look by wearing your pendant on textured leather or other types of cords. Contemporary designers are showing everything from elevated pearl designs to paved gemstone hearts to talisman and old cut diamonds on cord with closures that open in the front or back for the multi-function of being able to slip the pendants off and wear them on a chain when the mood strikes.
